The Island Landing Excursion:
Help sail the boat in the morning, anchor in the protection of one of the Apostle Islands near Bayfield, either Basswood, Long, Oak or Hermit and use the inflatable zodiac dinghy to explore the clear water beaches and Lake carved sandstone shorelines. You can even take a swim on a warm day. Then help sail her back to Bayfield.

This trip is for people of all levels of ability with an adventurous spirit. Comparing the Bayfield trips to our Sea Caves by Sail trip from Cornucopia, the caves near Bayfield are smaller, but we have them to ourselves, the water is calmer because it is protected by the Apostle Islands, but the wind is generally a little better. Bayfield is in the Apostle Islands and Cornucopia is on the open part of Lake Superior. The Mainland Sea Caves near Cornucopia are more spectacular. There is a selection of complimentary beverages on board; you are welcome to bring your own lunch to enjoy out on the lake.
