Safe Harbors by Night – Bayfield to Cornucopia

Quick Details

Private Trip For up to 6 people

Explore the Apostle Islands Between Bayfield & Cornucopia

Stay in the Cornucopia harbor by night and have the boat to yourself. Sail the boat again the next day with the captain or make your trip even more relaxing and add another night anchored or docked in the islands. If you’d like a trip that doesn’t venture too far away from civilization, then this is the trip for you.

Additional Information

With courtesy boarding the evening before the trip, you can sleep in the boat in the harbor the first night and walk to dinner and breakfast in town within a couple blocks of the boat. Depart Bayfield at 9:30 a.m. for a day of sailing and several stops at caves, sand spits, pristine beaches, or lighthouses.

Anchor in a calm, natural anchorage to grill dinner, watch the sunset, and sway gently to sleep on the boat. In the morning, have coffee and breakfast as the islands wake up — by then everyone is so relaxed, there is little point in rushing off. The last day is spent sailing, swimming (in season), and exploring before returning to Bayfield by 2 p.m. Want to experience more? Consider adding another night in the Apostle Islands to make it a three-day trip.

Meals can be prepared by your group in the boat galley just as easily as in your own kitchen. The captain is available to help with the stove, oven, and grill. It’s easy to plan the meals for your trip, but we do offer the option of having the food on board for you (see pricing when booking). If you are providing the meals, please consider the captain in your food counts. No special food requests need to be considered.
